WHY THEY WANT HIM OUT
Over the last two weeks, Presidential Candidate Herman Cain has been an object of trials as by fire.
Allegations of sexual harassment levied against him swelled over the airwaves like a whirlwind.

However, as his accusers grew from one to five, a suspicion of the motivation behind their stories made
many smell a rat behind the accusations. Questions shifted from how it happened to who launched the
firestorm. That is, who is pushing the allegations?

We can now report authoritatively that Herman Cain’s enemies come from two camps. The most intense
bunch is from without and the other from within. From without, fingers point at Obama’s machine led by
hangman, David Axelrod, on the one hand, and black liberals on the other. They both see in Cain a
hazard to Obama’s re-election.

Many political pondits have argued that Cain, being African American like Obama, poses the utmost
threat against his re-election should he win the GOP nomination. In the past, Obama and the Democrats
have used race as a weapon to successfully drive the black vote the way of the democrats.

However,  a contest between a black candidate verses another black candidate (Herman Cain), will
make it very tough for the race card to work. Obama and the democrats will be the losers.

“In a time of economic hardship like this, where everybody in this country — both whites and African
Americans — have lost jobs, the race card will not work,” said James Basbas, a Manchester resident
and Vice President at Altos Marketing.

Ann Coulter wrote, “This time, Obama’s little helpers have not only thrown a bomb into the Republican
primary, but are hoping to destroy the man who deprives the Democrats of their only argument in 2012: If
you oppose Obama, you must be a racist.”

This argument is reinforced by an e-mail that circulated over the Internet just before the harassment
allegations broke out. The e-mail was written by one Linda Gathright. Surprisingly it appeared to have
originated here in New Hampshire as the marketing consulting firm that did the distribution is based in
Derry.

The email was sent to black pastors and their congregations, black organizations and important black
personalities all over the country. The letter is pregnant with racial undertones. In it, Cain is referred to as
a black man who has forgotten his roots by allying with the Republican Party and the Tea Party. The
author spits venom on Cain for calling Obama a liar.

“I saw on the internet that you called the President a liar. I deplore what you are doing and the things you
are saying about the President in order to gain favor with these greedy, thieving, selfish, Republicans.
How dare you call President Obama a liar? You are a pathetic, obviously brainwashed black man who
has lost his way and his mind. You have had opportunity and a smattering of privilege in America that
has made you forget your roots. I despise people like you and Clarence Thomas, and you both have
Georgia roots.”
The letter continues, “You will never be President of this country, and I thank God for that. I must say, you
certainly live up to your last name. Just as Cain in the Bible so blatantly slew his brother, you are equally
willing to do the same politically and economically to millions of black and middle class citizens of this
country. Such behavior is extremely ugly, and need I remind you, Mr. Cain, that God does not like ugly.”
Ann Coulter writes about the rest of the plot. She explains how David Axelrod and the Obama campaign
have a track record of slandering their opponents with labels of sexual scandals.

In her book, Guilty: Liberal ‘Victims’ and Their Assault on America, Coulter explains that the only reason
Obama became a U.S. senator — allowing him to run for president — is that, “David Axelrod pulled
sealed divorce records out of a hat, first, against Obama’s Democratic primary opponent, and then
against Obama’s Republican opponent.”

One month before the 2004 Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate, Obama was way down in the polls,
about to lose to Blair Hull, a multi-millionaire securities trader. But then The Chicago Tribune — where
Axelrod used to work — began publishing claims that Hull’s second ex-wife, Brenda Sexton, had sought
an order of protection against him during their 1998 divorce proceedings.

From then until Election Day, Hull was embroiled in fighting the allegation that he was a “wife beater.” He
and his ex-wife eventually agreed to release their sealed divorce records. His first ex-wife, daughters
and nanny defended him at a press conference, swearing he was never violent. During a Democratic
debate, Hull was forced to explain that his wife kicked him and he had merely kicked her back.
Hull’s substantial lead, Coulter continues, just a month before the primary collapsed, thanks to the
nonstop media attention to his divorce records. Obama sailed to the front of the pack and won the
primary. Hull finished third with 10 percent of the vote.

Luckily for Axelrod, Obama’s opponent in the general election had also been divorced.
The Republican nominee was Jack Ryan, a graduate of Dartmouth and Harvard law and business
schools, who had left his lucrative partnership at Goldman Sachs to teach at an inner-city school on the
South Side of Chicago. Nevertheless, in a child custody dispute some years earlier Ryan’s ex-wife,
Hollywood sex kitten Jeri Lynn Ryan, had alleged that, while the couple was married, Jack had taken her
to swingers clubs in Paris and New York. Wrote Coulter.

Jack Ryan adamantly denied the allegations. In the interest of protecting their son, he also requested
that the records be put permanently under seal. Axelrod’s courthouse moles obtained the “sealed”
records and, in no time, they were in the hands of every political operative in Chicago. Knowing perfectly
well what was in the records, Chicago Tribune attorneys flew to California and requested that the court
officially “unseal” them — over the objections of both Jack and Jeri Ryan.

A California judge ordered them unsealed, which allowed newspapers to publish the salacious
allegations, and four days later, Ryan dropped out of the race under pressure from Republicans. Ann
Coulter so wrote. With a last-minute replacement of Alan Keyes as Obama’s Republican opponent,
Obama was able to set an all-time record in an Illinois Senate election, winning with a 43 percent
margin.

And that’s how Obama became a senator four years after losing a congressional race to Bobby Rush.
(In a disastrous turn of events, Rush was not divorced.) Axelrod destroyed the only two men who stood
between Obama and the Senate with illicitly obtained, lurid allegations from their pasts.
In 2007, long after Obama was safely ensconced in the U.S. Senate, The New York Times reported: “The
Tribune reporter who wrote the original piece (on Hull’s sealed divorce records) later acknowledged in
print that the Obama camp had ‘worked aggressively behind the scenes’ to push the story.”
Some had suggested, the Times article continued, that Axelrod had “an even more significant role —
that he leaked the initial story.”

“This time, Obama’s little helpers have not only thrown a bomb into the Republican primary, but are
hoping to destroy the man who deprives the Democrats of their only argument in 2012: If you oppose
Obama, you must be a racist,” Coulter concludes. That is, as far as the democrats are concerned.
The second groups of Cain’s enemies are the GOP establishment types. They are the GOP political
psychics, so-called analysts on FOX, CNN, MSNBC and the rest of the networks. They are the ones that
Rush Limbaugh took days to chastise for not standing with and defending one of their own. They see in
Cain, who is not of the establishment circle, a threat to the establishment candidate in the person of Mitt
Romney. Donald Chesnel, of Rochester, puts it succinctly. He said, “I think there is something bogus
about all of them. I personally think this is just a plot that has been orchestrated to take out Cain. Cain
starts polling higher than Romney and all of a sudden these women pop up. Where were they when
Cain ran for other political positions?”

But the GOP establishment may be playing into the hands of Democrats who see in Romney a
candidate they can easily beat. That is, the reason liberals are projecting Romney lies not in his
strengths but in his weaknesses. Romney is known to have changed positions on almost every subject
at times deemed convenient to him. Democrats hope that should he become the nominee, they can
easily paint him a flip-flopper and, like Obamacare, tie him to Romneycare.

Many conservative republicans here in NH say the same thing. They see Romney as a liability and not
an asset. Chesnel said, “I think Romney is John McCain revisited. The Democrats want Romney as the
Republican Candidate. He has the Romneycare stamp on his back and they will use that against him,
among other things. I think Romney will be easier to beat than Cain.”
